EP03:Passion in Miniature – Shops, Stories & the Soul of Collecting

In this episode, Glen and three fellow diecast enthusiasts head to Amcorp Mall, one of Kuala Lumpur’s go-to spots for model car collectors. On the way, they chatted about the night before, where a visit to a local model car night market led to unexpected finds and great conversations with fans and collectors under the city lights.

Inside Amcorp Mall, the hunt continues as they explore several well-known hobby shops, each filled with MINI GT models and collector favourites. Of course, everyone walks out with a few new additions to their collection.

To wrap up the day, the team sits down together to reflect on their amazing time in Malaysia. From the MINI GT Cruise and Tōgeya car meet to visits to JPM Museo, AutoDetailer Studio, and the many fans and collectors they met along the way, it has been a week to remember.

The first MINI GT Meet and Cruise was held this May in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

The morning kicked off at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur, where collectors and car lovers gathered before cruising to Tōgeya 峠とうげ for a legendary car meet - 1:1 and 1:64 alike.
