MINI GT x Make-A-Wish Malaysia | Charity Auction

MINI GT is honored to partner with Make-A-Wish Malaysia for a charity auction. The charity auction will take place in “One Night in Malaysia – Presented by MINI GT | KAIDO HOUSE“ on Saturday, May 20th, at 7:00 PM at the Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara.

All the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Make-A-Wish Malaysia to help more sick children wishes granted, to support them with courage and some enjoyment in their most challenging time.

There will be three auction items, each with a special meaning! The following will introduce them one by one.

About Make-A-Wish & Make-A-Wish Malaysia

It all started in 1980 in Arizona, Make-A-Wish has granted over 500,000 wishes worldwide, serving critically ill children in nearly 50 countries on 5 continents through its 39 Affiliates.

Make-A-Wish Malaysia has been working with select hospitals since 2010, bringing life changing wish experiences to critically ill children in Peninsula and East Malaysia. With each wish, they bring renewed strength and encouragement for the child and family to continually fight with illness.

The 1/64 scale black chrome model marked serial number 001, a customized acrylic display base, and a clear acrylic case with the item description.

MINI GT’s director’s gift is one of the most desirable models in the lineup. Since the retirement of the last MINI GT director’s gift model #84 in 2022, many collectors have been waiting for the arrival of its successor. The new MINI GT director’s gift #410 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Black Chrome, will officially debut at Malaysia Diecast Expo 2023. The serial number 001 of this unique model will become one of the most distinct models in the collector’s community.

The development prototype sample of MINI GT 2020 Land Rover Defender set

Initially developed in 2020, the L663 Land Rover Defender series was part of MINI GT’s new modern SUV product line. This project was later canceled in the middle of 2020 due to the capacity issue. These two prototype samples were the only prototypes remaining from this project. The development prototype samples are made with ABS material, mounted on a customized base with item descriptions.

Like the concept cars from car manufacturers, the MINI GT Concept Series is a prototype program that experiments with unique design ideas and tests different decoration techniques. The goal is to modify and improve the current MINI GT model to the extreme.

This Liberty Walk R35 model is a joint effort by MINI GT director Mr. Glen Chou and custom model maker Mr. Enzo Chang. No detail is spared from the custom targa roof, special green paint, custom interior with sound system, and specially built metal wheels. The model comes with an acrylic base and clear cover.
