Nut drives are for fastening nuts. In RC car industries, 5.5, 7 and 8 mm are mostly common used. Usually for fasten the wheel nuts, when 7 mm is for typical 1/10 vehicles, with 12 mm wheel adapters, and 8 mm is usually for 1/8 or bigger scales, with 17 mm wheel adapters.
